Installation steps

The following steps demonstrate how to add an additional domain controller to an existing domain:

1. Log in to the server as a member of the Schema or Enterprise Admins group.
2. Here, verify the static IP address' allocation by using ipconfig /all.
3. Launch the PowerShell console as an administrator.
4. Install the AD DS role service:

        Install-WindowsFeature -Name AD-Domain-Services         -IncludeManagementTools

5. After successful installation of role service, the next step is to configure the domain controller:

        Install-ADDSDomainController        -CreateDnsDelegation:$false        -NoGlobalCatalog:$true        -InstallDns:$true        -DomainName "rebeladmin.com"        -SiteName "Default-First-Site-Name"        -ReplicationSourceDC "REBEL-SDC01.rebeladmin.com" -DatabasePath ...
