Shared service centres
A round 40 per cent of Fortune 500 companies now have some
s h a red services groups, compared to around 20 per cent three or
four years ago. In the European context, shared services centre s
(SSC) are becoming more common. An SSC allows a corporation
to bring together and integrate similar internal service functions
and business processes that may exist in dispersed form across an
