The term operations infrastructure is an inclusive term that spans and supports work as it progresses through all of the organizational functions of a business. Within Operations Due Diligence, I divide the operations infrastructure into eight subinfrastructure areas plus the institutionalized processes that, in combination, support all of the work to be performed by a business (see Figure 3.1).
