It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
OPERATIONS REVIEWS
Most businesses hold operations reviews on a monthly basis. Operations reports are generated to support these reviews, and they are used to summarize the performance of the business’s operational units for the month (see Figure 10.2). The reviews monitor how well the units are performing against their plan. Operations reviews are typically conducted as part of a management meeting, and they integrate performance metrics on a continuing basis.
