It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
OPERATIONS TRANSACTION POINTS
One of the goals of Operations Due Diligence is to help readers start thinking about a business in terms of its operations workflows rather than its department structures.
Focusing on workflow allows readers to start thinking about the way work is accomplished and forces readers to begin looking at the organizational transaction points that support workflow rather than being locked into a predetermined organizational structure. “How” work is performed is more important than “who” performs it for this discussion. We deal with “who” later in the book.
