I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
Technology has the ability to rapidly transform society. Technology, in the form of steam engines and the telegraph, launched the industrial revolution and transformed us from an agrarian into an urban society within a couple of decades. Likewise, personal computers, the availability of the high-speed Internet, and affordable cell phones have all affected the way we work today. When you add the additional disincentives of commuting to an office including commuting times, high gas prices, risks from manmade and natural disasters, child-care costs, and lifestyle constraints, there are plenty of reasons for employees to work remotely. When they do so, their jobs are considered to be virtual jobs.
