Managing the VM Server Network

Typically there is not much to manage in the VM Server network. Most of the administration tasks involving the network are focused more on the virtual machines rather than the server network. Once you’ve completed the initial configuration of the network, typically no additional configuration is necessary.

When installing the VM Server system, you have an option to configure only one network controller. You can configure this network controller as either address allocated by using DHCP or static addressing. This first network controller is configured during the initial installation of the VM Server.
