This chapter covered storage management in an Oracle VM environment. Storage configuration is a very straightforward process without much complexity. The real complexity comes with configuring the hardware. Some storage vendors require additional device drivers and multipathing software. These should be configured according to the storage vendor’s instructions.
Once you have configured the storage at the Oracle VM Server level, not many options are available to configure. This part of the process is done when the virtual machines are created or modified and will be covered in later chapters in this book.
