Each tool has advantages and its own specific way of working. Which tool you use depends on your environment and your specific needs.

The VM Manager is easy to install and easy to use, as is the VM CLI. These tools work together because the VM CLI requires and uses the VM Manager. This OVM CLI tool is readily downloadable from Oracle and can be quickly installed and configured.
