Summary

This chapter presented the two ways to create a template: manually from an existing virtual machine or using the Template Builder. Each method provides a way to create preconfigured templates that you can easily use to reliably and repeatedly deploy virtual machines. By using templates much of the guesswork is removed from virtual machine creation.

The Template Builder is a useful tool for creating a JeOS version of Linux to be used to deploy systems quickly and easily.
