Popping Out of an Image
This is one of those techniques for which I’ve had so many requests that I wanted to include it here in the book. It’s primarily
seen in print ads where a person, a body part, a car, etc., extends out from part of the photo and into white space where body
copy usually resides. It’s kind of as if the object is popping out of the photo, and it not only adds visual interest and movement
but it also gives you something to wrap type around.
STEP ONE: Open the photo that has the
object or person that you want to extend
from part of the image.
