Ripped Edge Technique
While working on another book, I showed some color proofs to a friend and he asked how we had created the ripped edge
effect that we had used on long menus and the Options Bar (we had “ripped” away parts of menus and the Options Bar
when they were too long to fit on the page). He thought I should include the technique in a book, so here it is.
STEP ONE: Open the image you want
to rip. Press D and then X to set your
