Creating 3D Packaging
You can use Photoshop Elements’ built-in tools to turn a flat image into an object that has depth (such as product packaging,
a video box, etc.). In this tutorial, we’ll add perspective to an image using Photoshop Elements’ transformation tool, but we’ll
also add shading and highlights to help “sell” the effect that the image has depth.
STEP ONE: Open the image that you
want to use as the cover of your product
box. Press Control-A to select the entire
image, then go under the Layer menu,
under New, and choose Layer via Cut (or
press Shift-Control-J) to cut your cover
