When the UPN TV network first introduced its current logo, I just assumed it was created in a 3D program, but you can pretty
much get the same effect (where it looks like the logo is dropping back, like a one-point perspective effect) from right within
Photoshop Elements, thanks to the Free Transform tool’s Distort feature.
Perspective Type Logo
STEP ONE: Create a new document in
RGB mode (the one here is 8x6"). Click
on the Foreground color swatch in the
Toolbox and choose a bright red in
the Color Picker. Fill the background
with this red color by pressing Alt-
Backspace. Next, press D and then X
