STEP ONE: Create a new document
in RGB mode at 72 ppi (this example
is 8x6"). Press D to choose black as
your Foreground color, then press Alt-
Backspace to fill the Background layer
with black. Add a new blank layer by
clicking on the Create a New Layer icon
at the top of the Layers palette. Hide the
black background by clicking on the Eye
icon in the far-left column beside the
Background layer.
STEP TWO: Create the shape you want
for your metal console. In this example,
I clicked on the Foreground color swatch
and chose gray in the Color Picker. Then
I pressed U until I had the Rounded
Rectangle to ...
