It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Quick Slide Mounts
Several years ago, I wrote a Photoshop tutorial on how to make your own digital slide mounts. The end result looked
authentic, but getting there was pretty brutal, because creating rounded corners for your slide took a series of blurs, Levels
adjustments, and a host of other “pain-in-the-butt” steps. The original effect took 10 to 15 minutes to create. Now it’s down
to 60 seconds—thanks to features in Photoshop Elements—and that’s good because displaying your photos in slide mounts
(for online portfolios, wedding shots, etc.) is becoming popular once again.
