It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using a Third-party Multi-boot Loader
Even with all the advice in this chapter, managing more than one operating system on the same machine at the same time can be a daunting task. Fortunately, some special tools can save you at your darkest moments. (You never expected to find purple prose in a computer book, did you?)
The Windows XP multi-boot loader is capable of supporting a large number of multi-boot situations—probably more than will fit on the screen in a list. Still, editing the BOOT.INI file is an intimidating process, and you must remember quirky rules about the order of operating system installation.
