Thus far in this chapter, we've talked about ways of taking files with you when you're away from your network. Today, Internet connections are never very far away, and many companies set up dial-up modem banks for employees to connect while on the road, so in many cases, you don't need to take files with you; you can get at your files and office computers from just about anywhere in the world.
