I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing the Recovery Console
Sooner or later it's going to happen. You power on the computer and instead of getting the XP splash screen with the scrolling blue or green bars you see…nothing. You punch the reset button and wait, hoping that Safe Mode will appear to allow the machine to start. Still nothing. Now what do you do? A few deep breaths calm the nerves but the Recovery Console is more likely to solve the immediate problem.
