Installing the Recovery Console
Sooner or later it's going to happen. You power on the computer and instead of getting the XP splash screen with the scrolling blue or green bars you see…nothing. You punch the reset button and wait, hoping that Safe Mode will appear to allow the machine to start. Still nothing. Now what do you do?
