Now that you have a good understanding of the Start menu, we can move on to display properties. In Windows XP, you can configure a wide variety of desktop settings by accessing the display properties. The process of configuring display properties is similar to previous versions of Windows. In fact, many of the settings are identical.
To access these properties, right-click anywhere on the desktop and select Properties. The Display Properties dialog box will appear and display the Themes tab. (You can also open this dialog box by selecting Display in Control Panel.) The dialog box includes five tabs, which I'll discuss individually.
