If so inclined, you can use Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) to deploy a Windows XP upgrade. The question is, should you? To be honest, I've tried it, and I don't like it. Part of the problem is that you can only deploy Windows XP via SMS if doing an upgrade. You cannot use SMS to deploy a clean installation of Windows XP. So rather than telling you how to use SMS to deploy a Windows XP upgrade, I'm going to tell you why you probably shouldn't.
