I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready...
In order to go through this lab recipe, you need the lab set up. If you have not already done so, run the quick-and-dirty Initialize-PacktPs6CoreLinuxLab.ps1 script, under the ch04 directory, within the https://github.com/PacktPublishing/PowerShell-6.0-Linux-Administration-Cookbook repository. Run the script to get the necessary files.
Next, use the input file that we created in the Understanding Here-Strings recipe in Chapter 6, Working with Strings, to create files within the lab directory. Change the value of $LabPath to point to your lab directory:
