It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The emboldened line in the script is the one that performs the search. The contains comparison operator, as we discussed in Chapter 6, Working with Strings, looks for an element in an array. One important point to note is that the contains operator always looks for an exact match. Therefore, $NewNames -contains 'Torres, L*' will not work.
