When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
Long story short, the PowerShell profile executes every time a PowerShell session is loaded. This profile is a PowerShell script file that can contain a series of commands and functions, which would be executed just like any other script.
One important point to remember is that there is a different profile for each host. For instance, there is a separate profile for PowerShell loaded on the Terminal and a different one for the integrated terminal on Visual Studio Code. This is because each of the terminals has a different nature.
Execution policies have not been implemented in PowerShell on Linux. In case PowerShell on Linux gains the safety belt in the future, the execution policy should be set to allow execution of scripts ...
