When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The installation is pretty simple and straightforward. If you're in the Debian world (Ubuntu or Mint), use apt. If you're in the Red Hat world, which includes CentOS and Fedora, use yum. In this case, the host is Ubuntu, so run the sudo apt install OpenSSH-Server command to install the OpenSSH Server package and use sudo apt install OpenSSH -Client to install the OpenSSH client.
The next step is to edit the sshd_config file. I would recommend reading the previous recipe to get a strong hold of configuring OpenSSH on various Linux distros. Type in vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config, which will open up the SSH daemon configuration file. If you're not using the root user, you'll need to use sudo for this.
