I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Open a PowerShell window by running pwsh or powershell. The pwsh command calls PowerShell, and powershell calls Windows PowerShell.
Windows PowerShell comes preinstalled on all modern Windows operating systems; PowerShell, on the other hand, has to be installed. Note that all of the current PowerShell cmdlets will run on Windows PowerShell as well:
- First, run the Get-Command cmdlet to find out how to work with execution policies:
PS> Get-Command -Noun Execution*
- Now, let's get help on running the cmdlet:
PS> Get-Help Get-ExecutionPolicy
