The principle of the PSK demodulator is illustrated in Figure 4.25.
The performance of PSK is superior to ASK and FSK. The bandwidth
required for PSK is also less than FSK, because FSK needs to transmit two
frequencies whereas PSK needs to transmit only one frequency like ASK.
Less bandwidth adds less noise to the channel and thus improves the noise
immunity of the signal. Due to these advantages PSK is the most popular
