Problem: You’re new to the role of program manager (or even to the entire project) and you don’t have relationships with members of the community.
Open source projects are made of people. To work with people successfully, you’ll have to build relationships with them. This means connecting on an individual basis—you can’t build a relationship with the entire community at once because the community is a collection of individuals. Think about every job you’ve had.
