Your success as a program manager isn’t based on your charm and good looks. The right tools are crucial to help you be effective and efficient. So which tools are the right ones? There’s no simple answer. As in the rest of this book, it depends on your specific needs and those of your community.
In this appendix, we’ll explore some considerations to help you make the right choice. You’ll be asked to think about what matters, both practically and philosophically. But we’ll generally steer clear of discussing specific tools.
