LISTENING WITH FOCUS AND PRESENCE
“Listening with focus and presence” means that the coach, whether in person or by phone, or even bye-mail if that’s what the circumstances allow, is present in the moment—as fully attentive to the client as he can be, listening carefully to what she has to say, and keeping the conversation open.
Darya Funches describes the requirements of this kind of presence:
