Synopsis
The following settings and tasks relate to using folders and folder windows. See also Hard Disk and Windows Explorer. A quick way to get to Control Panel → Folder Options is to select Folder Options from the Tools menu in any open folder window.
- Folders, cache settings for offline access
Explorer → right-click folder icon → Sharing → Caching
- Folders, close automatically when Favorites or History folder is shown
Control Panel → Internet Options → Advanced tag → Browsing → Close unused folders in History and Favorites
