Synopsis
These settings apply toicons displayed on the Desktop, in folder windows, and elsewhere. Paint, discussed in Chapter 4, can be used to create and edit icon files.
- Icons, highlight color and font
Control Panel → Display → Appearance tab → Advanced → choose “Selected Items” from the “Item” list
- Icons, show shadows under icon captions
Control Panel → System → Advanced tab → Performance section → Settings → Visual Effects tab → Custom
