In the previous chapter, you added the player sprite node to the scene, worked with animations, and got Blob moving around at a consistent speed by using a touch event and some built-in functions. In this chapter, you’ll add the drops (collectible items) and learn how to improve and iterate your design by modifying how the player moves.
As you work through the beginning sections of this chapter, you’ll notice many similarities to the previous chapter.
