In the previous chapter, you continued your work with entities and components as you learned about and added states and state machines to Val’s Revenge.
In this chapter, you’ll keep working with the GameplayKit framework as you code autonomous life into Val’s pesky dungeon “pets” by giving them the ability to think and act on their own. You’ll also add a little more challenge to the game by making one of the collectible items move around. You’ll do all of this using two other GameplayKit features:
