So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Talent development is in a unique position to provide your organization with many services. Consider what your organization may need in the next few years. Be prepared to support your organization to assess, design, and implement what will be necessary.
You are a trusted advisor, and your leaders will expect you to be on call to provide many services, especially performance consulting. You may also be called upon to gather data using assessments, surveys, and focus groups, or to design new programs, such as mentoring or onboarding.
