I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Foster Persistent Self-Learning
What are you doing for your own career? To be a respected talent development professional you need to model persistent self-learning. You need to take care of yourself and the organization. This chapter sets up an interesting contrast while emphasizing that without the difference, harmony cannot exist. Remember:
• TD professionals need to develop themselves to better manage their organization’s development efforts.
• TD professionals need to focus on their own careers, as well as the business of the organization.
