The comparison you see in Figure 7-3 is between the two files that were recorded in a single shot. Notice
that both images appear to have lost much of the detail in the blackest shadows. I measured the scene
myself and got a difference of nine f-stops, from brightest to darkest so it should be no surprise that all
the details don’t show up here. However, to be fair to this incredible camera, I should mention that with a
little work in Photoshop, I was able to see that both files contained detail right down into the darkest
shadows, ...
