CHAPTER
Creating the
Finished Product
T
he digital age has created an explosion of products that you can offer to your wedding clients. The
choices are so numerous that the job of narrowing down to the best offerings is a very difficult and
time-consuming task.
This chapter looks at the various ways you can deliver products to your clients, from online print sales,
albums, data DVD, DVD slide shows, and more.
The finished products you offer determines how your clients experience the images they commissioned
you to create. Do they look at albums, computer slide shows, DVD movies that play on the TV, or framed
prints? Depending on how your business works, you may choose to offer all or none of these items.
Some photographers only do the photography service, while others rely on the aftermarket sales to
generate a significant portion of the total sale. Many combine a selection of offerings into a package.
