he digital wedding photographer spends the vast majority of the total working hours sitting in front

cropping, correcting, and touching up the images in Photoshop. This chapter takes a much deeper look
at the digital wedding workflow that was introduced in Chapter 4.
Transferring Images from Camera to Computer
After a full weekend of shooting weddings, you suddenly find yourself faced with the prospect of sorting
through all the images, perhaps thousands of them, and putting them into some form for final use.
Getting them from the CompactFlash cards to your computer is a delicate task that occasionally malfunc-
tions. This section discusses the safest techniques to use when downloading, as well as some solutions
for times when something does go wrong.
