I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Apps and Applications
Applications are pieces of software that can be quite large and were originally designed to run on a desktop computer; you use the application using a keyboard and mouse. These are known as desktop apps or applications. Examples include Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and so on.
On the setup below, we have Microsoft Word running on an all in one desktop computer.
