Putting it Together

That’s all well and good, but what does it all mean? Why bother? Well it turns out that these logic gates can be used to build electronic circuits. Logic gates form the building blocks used to create all sorts of electronic devices, from phones, tablets, watches, and cameras, to computers, workstations, and servers. Logic gates can be built using transistors.

Using the logic gates above we can construct a little circuit that adds two numbers. Remember electronics and computers only understand 1s and 0s so we’ll add two binary numbers
