I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Convert Binary Fraction to Decimal
If you want to convert to decimal, for example convert:
0011.1012 to decimal
First follow the same procedure as for whole binary numbers for the left side of the point (00112). Working from right to left we get:
1 x 1 + 2 x 1 = 310
For the right side of the point (.1012), use the same idea for whole numbers, except we use fractions. Working from left to right we get:
