Here’s one of the most useful shortcuts in all of InDesign. When you want a clean, no-guides
look on your page (and by clean I mean no ruler guides, no margin guides, no column guides—
nothing but page, baby), press Command-; (PC: Control-;).
TOGGLE GUIDES ON/OFF
Dragging guides from the rulers
is so 1980s. The next time you
need to get guides on the page
and have them perfectly spaced
apart, try this: Choose Create
Guides from the Layout menu.

Preview option to specify how
many rows and columns you
