It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If you’ve been using InDesign for a while (before the CS version), you are going to lose your
mind with this little improvement. You know how you drag out a text frame, then you start
typing in your text, but the text frame is always WAY bigger than the text, so if you want it to
fi t snugly, you have to resize the frame manually? Not anymore. Thankfully, Adobe felt your
pain and now to fi t your text frame snugly around your text, just switch to the Selection tool,
go up to the Control palette, and click on the Fit Frame to Content button and suddenly your
whole world makes sense.
