Although the side tab palette concept of InDesign
goes a long way to help keep your screen free of
palettes, there are some other things you can do
to minimize your palette clutter. First, if you see
small, double-headed black arrows in the palette’s
tab, right before the palette’s name, you can click
on those arrows to expand or collapse the palette’s
extra options (as shown in the middle capture here).
If you really want to save some space, double-click
directly on a palette’s tab and it “tucks up” so that
