When you want to send your document to

a printer or service provider, you should

make the document as simple as possible to

alleviate any potential doubt or confusion

as to what you did. Therefore, you should

delete any unused color swatches from the

Swatches palette so that your printer will

know exactly which colors are used in the

document. InDesign has no single command

to do this, but you can do it in two steps.

Choose Select All Unused from the Swatches

palette’s fl yout menu. This will highlight all

your unused swatches, then just click the

Trash icon at the bottom of the Swatc
