One of InDesign’s least obvious
functions is how you go about
selecting rows and columns in
a table. Here’s how you do it:
Choose the Type tool and hover
it near the left edge of the table,
or near the top of the table if
you want to highlight a column.
Once you see an arrow pointing
to the right or down, click to se-
lect the row or column the arrow
points to. You can also click-and-
drag to select multiple rows or
columns at once.
