InDesign CS/CS2
By default InDesign prints color in
Composite mode. If you’re printing
to your color printer, that’s what you
want. However, if you’re printing to
an image setter or plate maker,
chances are you want a separate plate
or piece of fi lm for each color. Switch
to the Output panel in the Print
dialog and choose Separations from
the Color pop-up menu. In the Inks
section you will be able to manually
turn on and off which plates you want
to print by clicking on the tiny printer
icons on the left.
