Many times when you’re creating a layout
for a publication, book, or print ad, you don’t
have the fi nal copy (or any copy, for that
matter) to use in your layout. But that doesn’t
have to stop you, because you can have
InDesign add “dummy” text to fl ow into
your text columns. Here’s how: Create your
columns, then Control-click (PC: Right-click)
in your text frame and choose Fill With
Placeholder Text from the pop-up menu that
