When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

La mondialisation oblige de plus en plus à manager ou à travailler avec des équipes à distance. Cela n’a pas que des inconvénients. Ne pas avoir son chef tous les jours sur le dos permet plus d’autonomie et de prise de responsabilité. Nombreux sont les managers qui se félicitent d’être « loin du siège », de pouvoir gérer leur activité en dehors des enjeux qualifiés de « politiques ». Pour vivre heureux, vivons cachés. L’ennui est que plus on est caché, plus on suscite de la méfiance. Et l’entreprise, lorsqu’elle est méfiante, multiplie les process et les reportings. Le manager éloigné de son chef se trouve ainsi bien souvent surchargé de tâches « administratives » qui lui grignotent son temps disponible pour manager. ...
